Palms

The "palm" image grew from Malcolm’s earliest memories in New Orleans. As the youngest in a family of five, he often found himself alone in his room as a small child. His room, located on the second story, offered a view of towering palm trees that stood just outside his window. These palms became silent companions, their swaying fronds etching themselves into his consciousness and eventually shaping his artistic vocabulary.
